When soreness occurs you shouldn’t miss gym as you need to make those muscles used to working out.  The pain and discomfort can demotivate you from working out however don’t let it get to you.

Soreness is basically the cause of muscle tears that results in slight pain and discomfort. However, it might be they are important as they help your muscles grow stronger.

You shouldn’t skip the gym but you shouldn’t work the same muscles as they need time to heal.

Taking rest of 1-2 days would be enough. Meanwhile, you can work other muscles. Such as after a leg day you should take a rest and do your upper body workout. This is important to recover and build.
